World Tourism Conference 2013

It was a pleasure to represent my company to attend the World Tourism Conference 2013. The theme for this year conference is "Global Tourism: Game Changers and Pace Starters. Overall, I enjoyed and benefited from the insights given by the distinguished panels.

There were numbers of speakers from around the world sharing their view on the global tourism. Of all, I prefer the first sessions of both days. The topics that touched me deeply were Gen-Y markets of tourism today and of Bhutan speaker mentioning on the less is more concept, maximizing happiness not profit first.

Speaker from Bhutan.

Mr Charm who naturally became a Korean shared his passion for Korea tourism especially Hallyu.

The first 2 days were about the talks and we had chance to attend technical tour on the third day. My colleague and I chose to go for homestay.

I had great experience today indeed to learn different cultures. I personally think government should put more efforts in promoting this sector, education comes first to reach better standard, it's not impossible.
