It was a relief!
I'm sure many of you have heard about the Facebook privacy issue whereby over 50 millions users data were used by Cambridge Analytica scandal. Thus the start of #DeleteFacebook. This has given extra concrete reason to actually disable both my Facebook and Instagram account.
Frankly saying, I've been spending too much times on these two social media ever since I started. What consequence will it be if I chose to start an account on other social media such as SnapChat. I reckoned the time spent could be used wisely for many other things like having a proper meaningful meal with my family members, go for exercise which I didn't do for some time or to do whatever I love. No one can imagine the hours I spent daily, probably about average 5-6 hours everyday.
I began to have the hatred feeling towards it. The things I browsed through could never bring any meaning to my life at all. I hate it when I saw family chose to swipe on Facebook feeds when coming together for dinner. I hate it when peoples chose to pray to God in social media than their rooms. Mind you, God doesn't own a Facebook account but He is definitely a good listener. I once heard on Youtube, these companies spent chunks of money on intelligence products so that users could spend more time on social media. Saw it online too, if the product is free, we are the products. That hit my mind immediately!
I just wanna be true to myself. Therefore, I made the decision today to disable both Facebook and Instagram accounts. I won't miss any single thing about it but rather I believe more great things to happen in my life.

a) To delete Facebook:- click https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account, do note there's a catch, it will take 14 days to permanently delete your account. Look, how smart these people are! They knew users will change mind within these days.
