Photostory 1: 15 April 2018 Sunday

I wanted to purchase another camera, tried to convince my wife to allow me to buy an used Lumix GM1 and I failed. I wanted a camera with interchangeable lenses but she asked to use whatever I have, which is none other than my Olympus XZ-1.

I did some reading about XZ-1 yesterday and began to take it out, cleaned it and to use it. Lo and behold, it's still good as before. Reading about the CCD sensor and many great reviews about it convinced me to save up the money instead of buying another one.

Without me realizing, I've kept it in my shelf for so long given that smartphone camera is so much convenient than carrying another camera. However, I began to recall back how many times I really take pictures with my phone camera, quite rarely. Maybe it was because the output is not up to my expectation.

After much thought, I decided to bring this XZ-1 around with me whenever I go. I had the strong urge to capture the moments, things and events around me everyday. I just don't want to waste the time scrolling social media feeds but to enjoy things around me. Ohh, how wonderful is God's creation!

I'm gonna kick start a new series called as Photostory. Basically it will a mixed bag kinda blog post which I let photos to do the talking of my daily life or any events. :) Today will be the first post of it. I took the photos from morning till I got back home. Hope you enjoy it :)
