Hanoi: Cafe Đinh Egg Coffee in Hanoi

Egg coffee (Vietnamese: Cà phê trứng) is a Vietnamese drink which is traditionally prepared with egg yolks, sugar, condensed milk and robusta coffee. The drink is made by beating egg yolks with sugar and coffee, then extracting the coffee into the half of the cup, followed by a similar amount of egg cream which is prepared by heating and beating the yolks. We did not go for the famous Giang Coffee as we managed to find one café (Cafe Đinh) nearby Highlands Coffee in Old Quarter selling the same egg coffee. It tasted kinda weird at first but good, the smell of the coffee was still strong enough though.

It's definitely a must try coffee!
