The bus ride was about an hour. By the time we reached Hanoi Hồ Hoàn Kiếm area, the sky was kinda dark. We quickly checked-in to Hanoi Sky Hotel and went on to look for some foods as both were hungry already :D. We had Banh Mi and Pho Ga.
Banh Mi. We both love banh mi a lot. (Price: VND 30k) |
Pho Ga. Unlike Ho Chi Minh, I realised mostly selling Pho Ga (chicken) than Pho Bo (beef).
You can easily find Pho Ga everywhere, the one we had was delicious, (Price: VND 32k)

Đồng Xuân Market
One can find some cheap stuff here like sunglasses, shoes, speakers and so on. I am not sure of the originality of products though. The road will be closed on every Friday to Sunday. I personally enjoyed this street a lot and managed to get a nice pair of Converse shoes here. :)

Ta Hien Beer Street, Hanoi
It was a crowded street with many local and overseas youngsters. There were plenty of illegal stalls, so beware, you might end up to carry own foods or drinks when the police do their patrol. Frankly speaking, I find that they are quite disturbing :/
Tonight, we're young. |
St. Joseph Cathedral is the oldest church in Hanoi. It was consecrated on December 24, 1886. Unlike the churches I visited in Europe, this church was not repainted over the years and it leaves a nostalgic feeling.

Besides of the church, there are many cafes, youngsters chilling there and eating kua-ci. |
